Angela Strohm Announces Candidacy for Oklahoma House District 69

Jenks, OK – Angela Strohm, a longtime member of the Jenks, Bixby and South Tulsa community announced that she will seek to represent our district in the Oklahoma House of Representatives.

“I’ve been overwhelmed by the show of support and encouragement as so many friends and neighbors have asked how they can help. I ask for your prayers during this time and trust that God has His hand on this election cycle. You can count on me to stand for Biblical truth and Conservative values while having an attentive ear to those in my district.”

Angela and her husband, Chuck, have been married for 20 years this summer, both attended ORU and have 4 children between them and are members of Victory Christian Center. Their two older daughters are both medical doctors, their son is graduating from College this spring and Reagan, their youngest is a freshman at Victory Christian School.

Strohm, a second-generation educator, has a unique insight into education having worked in both public and private schools and she understands firsthand the administrative burden placed on our public-school teachers. Angela believes that it is time for outside experts to perform “performance audits” on our public schools to ensure that the billions of dollars these schools receive are being efficiently spent in the classroom.

“It’s time for the taxpayers to have visibility and know that their money is being used wisely by those we’ve entrusted to educate our children.”

Angela is a graduate of Leadership Jenks, has been active in politics for many years and is recently served as Chaplain for the Republican Women’s Club of Tulsa County where she delivered insightful messages on a wide range of political topics every month.

Angela and Chuck operate a small engineering and manufacturing business giving them an understanding of the importance for less regulation and easing the burden on small business.

“I understand the need to make our state more business friendly and encouraging college graduates to stay here and start small businesses rather then moving elsewhere.”

“You can also count on me to stand for Constitutional religious freedoms, the right to keep and bear arms, school choice, transparency, tax reform and of course ending the murder of unborn children in our state.”
